Yale University

Longevity with Contemporary Simplicity

The Challenge

Achieve contemporary simplicity with sustainable materials, while maintaining respect for 300-year-old traditions of diverse architecture.

Customer Solution

Two Twelve Associates collaborated with Yale University to develop an integrated wayfinding system of porcelain enamel building signage and campus directories with maps illuminated with LED technology. VGS’ engineering experts developed ingenious solutions, like fabricating waterjet-cut steel posts that are sustainable and decorative, satisfying both the architect’s and Yale’s high technical and aesthetic criteria. VGS engineered, prototyped andmanufactured an outstanding wayfinding system that brings visual consistency and longevity to this historical campus.
